Alternatives on 404, version and color brand

When a brand, model, year, body style, trim or view does not exist, the 404 now tells you what does. Responses also say whether a car or image is a standard image or from the API v2 add-on, and which brand an applied color belongs to.

Added

  • A 404 for a car path now carries not_found (the level that does not exist: brand, model, year, variant, trim, view, ring or scene) and alternatives with what exists there instead, e.g. { "not_found": "trim", "alternatives": { "trims": ["Life"] } }. The lists are the same as the catalog endpoints return for your key. Status, error and code stay as before.
  • version on every image response, on car responses (views, /colors, /features, /all) and on every /api/getall entry: v1 = standard images, v2 = the car has API v2 add-on images. A standard image of an add-on car says v1.
  • settings.color_manufacture on image responses: the brand the applied color belongs to, e.g. Mercedes-Benz, or Vehicleimagery for a house color. null for the original paint or a hex color.
