PNG comes at the width a logo actually sits at in an email, 400px for the wordmark and 256px for the mark. Append @2x before the extension for twice that on high density screens.
Every PNG has a transparent background. In an email, that means the dark version disappears on a dark template. So, pick the one that matches where it goes.
